Personality:  Bootleg has become Sweet's reminder not to bring home stray pups.  She picked him up when he was only a month old, seemingly lost in the woods.  What Sweet did not know was that the small pup had simply wandered from his nest while his mother's back was turned.  When she brought him home, he soon showed symptoms for a cold, spreading it to several of the other pups including a pup known as Ladybug.  Ares had to quarantine the nest, along with Sweet, Plop, and Flicker and take care of the sick half of his loaf while they recovered.  Bootleg recovered the fastest, having seemed to be the source of the cold and quickly went on to break his leg while trying to escape quarantine from boredom.  He earned the name Bootleg from this incident.

He reunited with his mother 2 months after, though he stayed with Sweet and the rest of Ares's loaf to grow up.
