Personality:

              Unlike her younger brother, Kuunkielo hatched into the world under a sky filled with welcoming starlight. She was her mother's girl, and grew in the toughening shelter of Ruoto's viciousness. She was taught to be an independent warrior, and it was what she became.

              Still, even with how her mother relentlessly attempted to prepare Kuunkielo to the world, that world held a rusted blade instead of an open hand.

              Every hardship from pirates to bloodthirsty beasts only hardened her. Just because her mother had saved her as a pup, didn't mean that it could go on forever. The skeletal-marked dove knew that if she didn't look after herself, no one would. After maturing and leaving the safety of her mother's wrath, Kuunkielo made a marsh her new home. She rather quickly isolated herself from other kukuris due to her territorial tendencies, and became a recluse.

              During that time, the world had exchanged its knife to a sword. Misfortune hit the fan blades, and twisted everything around itself into a gory pulp. Life Herself built Kuunkielo's existence into a towering hellscape, even if indirectly.

              From that point on, she was forced to resolve the conflict between her own mind, and the puppeteering effects of the contamination. It took her months to get the sickness under control - she wasn't going to get rid of it, anyway. Why bother? She was dead to her family, after all.

              While Ruoto didn't know how to approach her contaminated daughter, Sysi provided irreplaceable support for Kuunkielo. Unlike everyone else, the raven-coated dove didn't seem afraid of the possibility of getting contaminated herself - or she hid it well.

              In time, Kuunkielo mastered the art of her own glowing decay. She molded shroomies into armies of her own, and the disgust she felt for the two Sisters only grew. The rash decisions she executed under the blinding flame that was her own rage, lost her that newfound family more than once. Even when it was all over, she hadn't won.

              Kuunkielo had never felled the monster, that looked back at her from the reflections on the surfaces of calm lakes. She couldn't bury the bone in her throat into the shadow of the twin Goddesses anymore.

              She still had to face herself - with both eyes open.
