Personality:  NNaut likes to nip the tails of his shipmates, and then run away with cackles. Since his tail is so short others have a hard time biting him back, and he delights in this fact. Awkward as a baby duck when he was a pup, and as enthusiastic about water as one. Naut loves to splash around in any sort of water and often get his mate Cormac soaked. Tail wiggles every time he surfaces from water like a duck, and has legs that have been strengthened through swimming. Bit of a doves rook, he loves to flirt and spend time with doves, were they pirate-blood or ground-dwelling doves. Partner in crime and a captain with Cormac Ó'Raoghaill.

As a young rook, Nautilus was taken from a shore village for his good fur and rare looks. Subdued and tied, Nautilus saw how his late homeland got further away while the ship slowly moved within waves. Nautilus didn't enjoy the journey at all, but he got a chance to befriend a lad called Cormac. He was the laughing spot of the ship for being an irish and having a funky accent. Nautilus often would nibble the lad's scarf and pull a bit when he wanted some attention. 
Then Cormac had enough of the nasty captain and he released Nautilus to be his and his friends help. With ease and 6 feet tall kukuri the man and his goons were banished from the ship and Cormac was elevated as a captain. Even though Cormac lost an eye, he was ready to bring Nautilus back home, but somehow he knew that Nautilus didn't want to leave. So they became a pair of pirates and they have now a tight community of pirates and kukuris alike, kept alive by Cormac and Nautilus.
