Personality: Abandoned as a pup for not only being a runt, but missing both his front legs, this kuku had a rough start to life. Doomed to death from the moment he hatched, it took a kind heart to take in this poor boy. A heart beat growing weak, another kukuri named Sweet picked him up before a scavenger could and took him back to be raised as her own alongside her brother's newborn kukuri. Neither of the new parents were keen upon him, and he had many days were he was run over by his new nest mates. Sweet fortunately looked after him and protected him as if he were her own. But Leo grew up alienated from his fellows and for the most part ignored. It was only due to Sweet's kindness what his heart never went cold, the gentle giant always appearing to defend him in a time of need.
Leo has since grown up, and grown tough. From the outside he looks mean and cold, but on the inside is still a child trying to make it in a world that never wanted him.
