Personality: As a pup, predators were often drawn to the loaf, led by Dino's lights. Due to this he often had to defend himself, both from the predators and from other pups who jabbed at him, influenced by the danger and their parents' whispers. While the adults never actually exiled him (they were annoyed, not heartless) Dino started his life alone. Early on in his life, his loaf and another merged, an event that scared him at the time. Would the other loaf cast him away?

It was then that he met the outcast of their group - a scrawny, blind, inbred child named Kur. After some initial tense interactions, the two became fast friends. Dino had someone to protect other than himself, which turned him into a more confident and fearsome fighter. Full of energy, he tried to uplift his self-conscious friend, often tussling with him and giving him pep talks. It was his idea to leave the loaf and "go on adventures," which eventually led to them making their own loaf.

Now that he's older and more comfortable in his environment, Dino is still very protective over those he loves but has lost a lot of his zeal. He's often quiet, opting to listen to others and his experiences allow him to give (usually) effective advice. This doesn't mean he's gone too soft, as he will harshly crack down on any behavior he deems unacceptable in his loaf. He also still loves to fight, often brushing with Kur and anyone else willing to scuffle despite his large size. He'll direct the pups in their play fights and sometimes gets overly excited or critical about them. Otherwise he is very pleasant and caring, and doesn't mind doing things like sharing his food or helping a parent babysit.
