Or, at least that is what Mossface thinks of himself. Poor, deaf thing doesn't even know that everyone else calls him Mossface instead of Blackjaw, a name he gave himself for the obvious reasons - but Blackjaw does sound more intimidating than Mossface, right?
This rook has gotten his personality mostly from his father Salvia, who Mossface loves dearly. They are both deaf after all, and papa Salvia knows how tough that can sometimes be - but instead of creating it a problem or a limitation, Mossface was taught to live the life to its fullest no matter what kind of flaws he might have! That is why this pearl rook is extremely happy and positive fella, curious like his father and just filled with never-ending energy and kindness. Mossface is a good boy, and he always wants to do his best to impress and please both his parents and friends.

Although being a total papa's boy, Mossface has also taken some influence from his mother Vainoharha who he admires for being so brave and feared pirate kukuri. Mossface, or Blackjaw like he wants himself to be known, also wants to be a famous pirate and sail the seas with his mother and other pirate kukuris. Unfortunately Mossface hasn't really understood that being a pirate is not just sailing and singin shanties and drinking rum with uplifting mood, but it is also pillaging, murdering, shooting cannonballs to sink other boats and trying to fight against fleas and scurvy. Mossface is a good pirate, naive little rook who still would punch some sailors to show his momma how tough he is!
