Personality: Although he started life as a nervous pup, Kur has spent many of his years defending himself and his partner, Dino, from judging eyes and prying claws, turning him into a brave rook. Being blind can make certain tasks more difficult, but after a while you learn how the air shifts when your opponent lashes, the smells of nearby food, and the sounds of friendly feet gently falling. 

Kur had low self-esteem while small and that carries into his current days as well, although it hides under a curtain of confidence. The only one that really sees his self-deprecating side anymore is Dino as Kur tries to keep the morale of the loaf up. Because of his leadership role, he finds it hard to ask for help, but Dino can read him like an open book and is there for him when he needs it. He cares deeply for his friends and family, and when dealing with problems has a tendency to get emotional and go overboard. He has killed, accidentally or not, several kukuri and other creatures that he deemed a threat. He regrets a few of them.
