Personality: Vaapukka was born with many flaws, and expectedly they have drastically affected both her whole life, as well as her personality. It is not easy to start a life being both blind and deaf, and it took a long time for poor Vaapukka to learn even the basic things - mainly because there was almost no ways to teach her, except physical contact. Vaapukka experiences the world by touch and smell, and especially touching things is her favorite thing - not only because it is vital, but because she likes to feel different textures and shapes in her hands. Honestly Vaapukka doesn't know she is different in any way, she thinks that every kukuri has four hands and her mother is just... incomplete. Nobody has the heart to tell her the truth.
Vaapukka is easily frightened, and wherever she is there is always someone with her. Vaapukka is afraid of being alone but she also needs constant supervising, and it's usually easiest to just tie her to another kukuri (usually her mother Lumenkoskema) with a rope. Syysloimu's little cottage and fenced garden are Vaapukka's whole world. She is extremely afraid of everything outside the little wooden fences, and to be honest she isn't quite sure if there even is anything at all out there. She doesn't even want to know.
Vaapukka might have such a tough life of constant learning, but she is very happy and positive dove. She is calm and often lost in her own thoughts, just like her mother, and Vaapukka knows she can always rely on her loving family.
