Thor is very impatient and he absolutely hates waiting. He would far rather go out for traveling than hunting or fishing. Having to sit around any longer than five minutes Thor becomes very irritated and sudden boost in self-pride can cause very bold and stupid actions. As a good example of those, once not believing in a friend of his Thor stomped off from a hunting trip and ended up scaring an entire herd of elks and Thor of course got run over them because his pride didn't let him stand down from a threat. "Its just an elk!" Thor exclaimed when another pack member told him to jump out of the way.... well Thor didn't exactly got to walk for almost a month with multiple broken bones and a broken leg. It taught Thor to not get run over by large herds of elks but that did that taught him not to take his sass somewhere else? Absolutely not.
