Personality: After being separated from his parents as a pup Mallow was taken in by a kind soldier who kept him as a beloved pet. Named after his mellow temperament with a twist on the word, the rook was always quiet, sweet and considerate of his handler who was like a father to him. Eventually the sweet kukuri pup started to grow and became impossible to hide, and when the general found out about the pup his master was given two choices: either shoot the damn thing or put it to work. After that Mallow was taught to pull an ambulance carriage and soon he was seen as an incredible asset to the soldiers.
One day the unthinkable happened: on their way to rescue the injured from a seemingly abandoned battle field the soldiers were ambushed, and before his very eyes Mallow's handler was killed. Overcome with grief and rage the rook broke free from his harness and proceeded to slaughter the enemy soldiers though this came at a price. As the last soldier fell Mallow found himself riddled with bullets and suffering from blood loss. He was prepared to die on that battle field and he waited for Death to embrace him so that he could be with his family again. Only thanks to Rento did he survive, though afterwards he was never the same. Insanity started to take over, and PTSD caused him to panic or lash out at random.
