Personality: Feisty, excitable and always battle-eager, this kukuri is a raging ball of testosterone and energy. Although always picking for a fight, Ljónar isn't actually a mean kukuri by nature. Personality-wise he's actually rather friendly, even loving, if one can look past his initial headbutting and tail-snapping. With good training, he can become a rather formidable fighter. And that's exactly what Lop saw in this bull-headed critter the day they infiltrated a feudal lord's annual festival where creatures, wild or trained, were pitted against each other for blood sport. This wild-captured kukuri was one of the many creatures Lop sneakily released upon the feudal lord and the crowd as distraction when He smuggled Hollr (then named KiAvash) to safety. Perhaps on a whim, or perhaps with insight (for you can never tell with someone as unpredictable as Lop), the deity decided to also spirit home this untamed creature, much to the horror of His stablehand Kit, and His stablehand's stablehand, Konil. For the two reluctant handlers, many days were then spent peeking around corners, tip-toeing around chambers, and mad, scrambling dashing for cover; for Lop had pretty much released this raging bull of a kukuri to roam freely on the temple grounds. The flock pretty much retreats to the higher limbs of the great ash tree when this fellow is out on patrol. Woe betide the unlucky bird caught on ground level. Many pretty tail feathers were lost.
When asked for a solution, Lop simply answers "I used to be surrounded by men of this sort. Just give them three things: booze, women, and a sparring partner. They'll be content as a cat with cream." It was not until Hollr recovered from his injuries that Ljónar would finally find a match in battle. For safety, Lop covers both Ljónar's antlers and claws, and Hollr's talons with padded wrappings to avoid any serious injuries. Kit and Konil are still working on finding the kukuri a mate. And word has it that there's a certain type of mushroom that may have intoxicating effects on a kukuri...
